Philadelphia
Weather - The weather in Philadelphia varies
greatly by season. Like most of the Mid-Atlantic States
in America it has for very clearly defined seasons.
The season when most people choose to do their traveling
is summer. In Philadelphia in the summer temperatures
will average, during the day, somewhere between 70
and 90 degrees.
Fall is a lovely time to visit Philadelphia,
the leaves are turning colors and you can still go
out without a jacket. You’ll want to pack warm
pants and some sweaters, but leave your ski jackets
at home. On a warm fall day you may encounter 70 degree
weather and on a cold one somewhere near 50 degrees.
One last word to the wise, if you come in fall plan
on encountering rain.
Winter is amazing in Philadelphia.
The one thing I can tell you is plan on snow, not
a blizzard mind you, but during the winter season
this region is prone to getting snow. The tricky part
is that the regions snow fall varies greatly from
year to year. Some years you can go a whole winter
without seeing more than 10 inches and some years
you’ll get 10 inches in one snowfall.
