Philadelphia
Nightlife - Philadelphia’s nightlife
is an amazingly vibrant scene. You can find clubs
and bars galore in this city, with a style, flavor
and beats to match any taste. You will love going
out on the town in Philadelphia. The first thing I
should mention is that these clubs are not for kids,
and the city of Philadelphia takes its drinking laws
very seriously, it is not an uncommon event to find
police officers near the club entrances or inside
undercover. If you happen to be under twenty one or
traveling with people who are under twenty one, you
may want to find something else to do. Its not worth
getting bused on your vacation. Some places have an
eighteen to party, twenty one to drink policy, but
you should call ahead to ask before you go to all
the trouble of getting there.
Philadelphia Clubs - You may also
want to call ahead and make sure that the club is
open the night you want to go, clubs are rented out
for private affairs or may simply not be open during
the week in the off season. Calling ahead is generally
a good idea if you are not going during the summer.
There are some clubs in the city that cater to teens,
but usually what you will find is that they are regular
clubs which are open to teens only one night a week
or only during the summer. I would not count on being
able to find one of these clubs, as very few reputable
places run these every night. It is really a hit or
miss proposition. A word to the wise, visitors are
easy marks for all kinds of low lives who are looking
to scam or hurt you. It s fun to visit a club but
do not let that cloud your mind. Keep your drink in
sight and always have a sober ride home. Most clubs
will let you call a taxi on there phone if you are
too drunk to get home on your own.

Mask and Wig Club

This charming pub is a bit of old Philadelphia. The
decor is what you would expect to find in an old pub,
and the cooks can prepare a variety of light foods
and full meals for your enjoyment. You wont find club
style dancing here, but this is a great place to relax
and have some fun with your friends.

This after hours club gives the appearance of a bordello
at first. All the small spaces hidden off of main
rooms really gives you a sense of privacy, for whatever
you choose to do, and the music is a mix of Dance,
DJ, Hip-hop, rap and techno. This is a really great
place to go for an eclectic mix of music.

This alternative life style club is the biggest of
its kind in the city. Open seven days a week, the

nights, and you can find a mix of anything from cutting
edge hip-hop to old school disco. This place is definitely
worth the visit.
