Philadelphia
Hostels - Hostels are a great alternative
to hotels; you can save a lot of money by hostelling
instead of staying at a hotel. While you may lose
some of the amenities that you would find while staying
at a hotel such as swimming pools, coffee maker in
room and possibly a private room, depending on the
hostel you stay at. Do not let this lack of luxury
bias you against the hostel, you can meet wonderful
people in hostels, people you most certainly would
not have met in other places. This is a great place
for a person with a sense of adventure, or a person
on a tight budget.
Philadelphia Hostels are definitely
not the place for you if you value your privacy before
all else, or if you need certain amenities that only
hotels offer. I would definitely not recommend a hostel
if you are traveling on business or if you are traveling
with someone who is older. Worried about getting to
the hostel and finding that it is all full for the
night? Never fear now you can book your hostel in
advance on the phone or via the internet. If you have
special needs, for example if one of your traveling
companions is mobility impaired you will want to mention
this to your hostel of choice when you book. That
way your companion is comfortably accommodated and
you avoid annoying situations like walking up spiral
stairs to the fifth floor or getting the top bunk.
